WHAT WE DO:
EI introduces best practices and advanced instructional methodologies to teachers in developing countries by inviting local teachers to spend their summer training native teachers in these countries. EI’s flagship program is Oasis Christian Academy located in Kumasi, Ghana. Educate International has been working with Oasis for over 12 years. EI has also begun supporting programs withi
n the local community that focus on broadening educational opportunities for economically disadvantaged children. Training
• Every summer, EI sends a team of experienced teachers from the US to developing countries to instruct local teachers in effective and successful teaching methods. As a result of the training they receive, the teachers are better equipped to provide superior education.
• Historically, students at our partner schools excel above their peers. Resources
• EI provides financial support to select programs that align with the scope of EI’s mission and vision.
• EI provides funds to assist children abroad with annual school fees and related costs (curricula materials, uniforms, and textbooks).
• EI occasionally ships books, stationery, computers, toys, non-perishable food items, art kits, first aid kits, and hygiene items donated by local organizations and individuals to schools in developing countries. Infrastructure Assistance
• EI encourages schools abroad to raise their own funds for building and expanding infrastructure. However, EI will provide a designated subsidy for such projects.
