💙 Outreach Sunday at MDPC 💙

What a beautiful morning at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church⁠ for Outreach Sunday!

Foundations Christian Academy is incredibly grateful and humbled to be a new Ministry Partner of MDPC. Their Outreach Ministry comes alongside local ministries through prayer, volunteer involvement, and financial support—all with the purpose of sharing the Gospel and showing the love of Christ.

Today was more than an opportunity to share about FCA with other ministry partners. It was an opportunity for us to be poured into.

We worshiped. We were fed by the Word. We rested in the Lord. And we were so beautifully cared for.

After the season we have walked through recently, I don’t think I realized just how much I needed that. Today truly felt like the Lord saying, “Come, sit with Me. Let others care for you for a little while.” ❤️

A very special thank you to Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Alf Halvorson, and to Julie, Amy, Kim, and the many wonderful volunteers who made Outreach Sunday such a beautiful experience. Thank you for your hospitality, your encouragement, your generosity, and most importantly, your heart for advancing the Kingdom of God.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Foundations Christian Academy is so blessed by this new partnership and by MDPC’s investment in the work God is doing through our school. We are excited to see what He will do as we serve alongside one another—loving children, strengthening families, sharing the Gospel, and helping the next generation know that they were created by God on purpose and for a purpose.

Due to unexpected circumstances, our "Let’s Make a Difference" game show fundraiser on October 24 has been canceled. We’re sorry for the change and appreciate your understanding and support of Foundations Christian Academy. 💙

🎉 Day 1 of Staff Training = SUCCESS! 🎉

Our team is officially back together, and what a great way to kick off the school year! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Debbie Simmons from AnchorPoint for an outstanding day of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) training. We spent the day learning, laughing, growing, and sharpening our skills to better Connect, Correct, and Empower every student who walks through our doors.

At Foundations Christian Academy, we believe that strong relationships create the foundation for academic, behavioral, and emotional success. When students feel safe, connected, and understood, incredible things happen!

We are so thankful to invest in our staff so they can continue investing in our students. This is just the beginning of what we know will be an amazing school year!

We are proud to be at the Freed Community Center in Houston today supporting the TEFA School Fair and representing .

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with families, share more about our therapeutic and trauma-informed approach to education, and showcase the unique programs and support we offer our students. We are grateful to be part of an event that brings schools, families, and the community together in support of education and student success.
