🇺🇸 YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN 🇺🇸

Today, NVAR pauses to honor and remember America’s Prisoners of War and those who remain Missing in Action.

We remember the courage of those who endured captivity, the heroes who never returned home, and the families who have carried the weight of unanswered questions and sacrifice.

Their service.
Their courage.
Their sacrifice.
We will never forget.

NVAR proudly stands with our veterans, military families, and all those who continue to keep the promise:

Until They All Come Home.

🖤 🇺🇸 POW • MIA — YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN 🇺🇸 🖤

🇺🇸 Purple Heart Day – August 7 💜

Today, we honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the recipients of the Purple Heart—America’s heroes who were wounded or gave their lives in service to our nation.

The Purple Heart is more than a medal; it is a symbol of unwavering bravery, resilience, and selfless dedication. We remember those who have borne the physical and emotional scars of war and express our deepest gratitude for their sacrifice.

To every Purple Heart recipient and their families: Thank you. Your courage, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.

Please join us in taking a moment to honor these heroes and keep their legacy alive.

💜 Honor the sacrifice. Remember the fallen. Support our veterans.

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who served during the Korean War and recognize National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day.

On July 27, 1953, the Korean Armistice Agreement brought an end to active combat, but the sacrifices, courage, and dedication of those who served will never be forgotten. Known as the “Forgotten War,” the Korean War deserves to be remembered through the stories of the heroes who defended freedom and stood alongside our allies.

At NVAR Lions International, we proudly salute our Korean War veterans and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Your legacy of service continues to inspire generations of veterans, first responders, and community advocates.

Thank you for your service. We will never forget.

🇺🇸 Honor. Remember. Serve.

NVAR Lions were thrilled to be a part of our WWII Army Veteran's 98th Birthday. We couldn't have done it without the help from Auxiliary Unit 472 and Visiting Angels Webster.

🇺🇸 Honoring the Women Who Served 🇺🇸

Today, on Women Veterans Day, NVAR Lions proudly recognizes the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the women who have answered the call to serve our nation.

Women veterans have broken barriers, led with strength, and continue to make a lasting impact in our communities long after their military service ends. Their commitment to duty, honor, and country inspires us all.

To every woman who has worn the uniform—thank you for your service, your resilience, and your leadership.

Today and every day, we honor your legacy and stand beside you.

“Strong in Service. Powerful in Purpose. Honored Always.”

I was honored to be recognized by the Houston Lady Lions for Past Leadership this Sunday. It was great to be able to participate in their SWOT Analysis and share ideas with like minded women. President Elect Dr Sherell Herrell thank you for the invite and bringing us all together. Everyone did an amazing job. I look forward in working with you all.
