What if sight word practice could feel like PLAY? 🎨
For some readers, learning a word takes lots of repetition. Large muscle movements can give you a fun way to squeeze in those extra repetitions—without making your child feel like they’re drilling flashcards!
Try “Paint the Wall”:
🖌️ Pretend you’re painting a giant wall.
❤️ “Paint it RED!”
💙 “Now BLUE!”
💚 “Now GREEN!”
As your child makes big painting motions, have them practice the sight word each time.
No paint. No supplies. Just imagination + movement + repetition!
Because sometimes the best practice doesn't feel like practice at all. 💛
Move it. Say it. Repeat it.
