🎨 The City of Conover has received a grant from Arts Culture Catawba to support a mural in downtown Conover.

To make sure this work truly represents our community, we have opened a community input survey that is open now through October 30th. Share what Conover means to you and help us create something that belongs to this community and will become part of the heart of downtown for decades to come.

This past weekend, two of our staff participated in FilmLAB, a filmmaking competition in which your team must write, shoot, and edit a short film in 60 hours based on the genre you draw at the FilmLAB kickoff event. Audiences have the opportunity to screen the films as part of the Footcandle Film Festival , which is an annual event organized by Footcandle Film Society with most events held at The Hickory Community Theatre over several days. Arts Culture Catawba is proud to have supported the festival with a Projects Pool grant since its inception and this year, we are also proud of Chris Coffey and Kendra Williford for gathering their friends and collectively sharing their talents to make us all laugh.
