💔 URGENT: JEAN NICHOLS THORNE'S CATS NEED HELP 💔
When our dear friend Jean Nichols Thorne passed away, she left behind more than a dozen beloved cats who depended on her for love, comfort, and care.
Since Jean's passing, a dedicated caregiver has continued living in Jean's home and caring for the cats. Thanks to the support of adopters, fosters, and rescue partners, several cats have already found homes or been transferred to rescue.
Unfortunately, the caregiver will soon be moving, and there will no longer be anyone living at the property to care for the remaining cats.
The home is located in a remote mountain area, making daily care by volunteers extremely difficult. An hour drive each way every day simply isn't sustainable long-term.
We urgently need help finding placements for the cats who remain.
🐾 Some are friendly, affectionate cats ready for loving homes.
🐾 Some are shy and simply need patience, understanding, and time.
🐾 Others would benefit from foster homes, rescue placement, or experienced cat people willing to help continue their socialization.
These cats have already lost the person they loved most. We don't want them to lose their future too.
We are looking for:

❤️ Long-term placement options for cats who may need extra patience
