💔 Inky & Nib — six months old, still waiting to be chosen.
Born April 3, 2026, Inky and Nib came into our rescue on May 12, 2026. Almost five months later, these sweet boys are still waiting for a family of their own.
At adoption events, they’re a little reserved. Amid the noise, unfamiliar faces, and activity, they don’t show the wonderful personalities I get to see at home. I worry people walk past without ever knowing what they’re missing.

Nib purrs at the slightest motion. Pick up Inky, give him a few seconds, and his little motor turns on, too. Sometimes they sleep on my pillow together, and I fall asleep with purring in stereo—two precious boys, close to me, happy just to be loved.
That’s the part an adoption event can’t always show you. The quiet companionship. The sweetness. The comfort of two little purrs beside your head at bedtime.
They’ve spent so much of their kittenhood waiting. They’re getting bigger, but they still deserve all the excitement of being someone’s new baby—and the security of becoming someone’s lifelong companion.
Our dream is to find Inky and Nib a home together, with someone who will give them time to settle in and discover just how wonderful they are.
Please don’t let a shy first impression be the reason their wait continues. There is so much love behind that little bit of reserve.
