Hi, I'm Annie,
I am a wife, a mother of three, a grandmother of two grandsons, and a passionate advocate for recovery and transformation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is my privilege to serve through Breaking Chains, a ministry that was born out of the heart of Mosaic Church to help people find freedom, healing, and hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
My story is one of redemption and hope. As a child, I experienced abuse, abandonment, and exposure to drugs at a very young age. These early hardships led me into years of destructive choices and addiction that, at times, felt impossible to overcome.
Everything changed for me on Easter Sunday in 2011 when I walked through the doors of Mosaic Church. After years of drug use, brokenness, and searching for purpose, I encountered the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. At Mosaic, I found more than a church—I found a family. Through the love, support, and discipleship of this church community, God began a transforming work in my life. As my relationship with Christ grew, I experienced the freedom, healing, restoration and purpose that I had been searching for my entire life.
On April 11, 2012, I began my journey of sobriety and have remained drug-free ever since. My testimony is a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace and that Jesus Christ still transforms lives today.
Breaking Chains is not simply a recovery program—it is a ministry that points people to the One who truly sets captives free. Our goal is to create a place where people can experience God's love, find authentic community, receive biblical encouragement, and discover lasting freedom in Christ. We welcome people of all faiths, and there is no requirement to share the same beliefs; we are simply excited to walk alongside you. Individuals from a variety of backgrounds and belief systems are welcome and find meaningful support, growth, and freedom through the group.
Alongside my husband, who operates the Mexica Community Center where Breaking Chains is hosted, I serve those who are struggling with compassion, understanding, and unwavering faith. Having personally experienced both the devastation of addiction and the miracle of recovery, I am committed to walking alongside others as they pursue healing and restoration.
I am committed to helping people discover that freedom is possible through Jesus Christ. Through Breaking Chains and the ministry of Mosaic Church, I strive to share the hope that transformed my life and to help others break free from the chains that bind them so they can experience the new life found in Christ.
