Today, NOCOFCCA was proud to participate in United Way Weld County 's Project Connect event! We had the opportunity to provide free books for children of all ages, along with engaging learning activity kits, thanks to the success of our community book drive and generous donations from Lakeshore Learning

We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community and to have opportunities like this to give back to local families. While these projects require extra time and effort outside of our own family child care businesses—from planning and preparation to assembling materials—seeing the excitement on the faces of both children and parents made every moment worthwhile!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this outreach project a success. We look forward to participating again next year and continuing to make a positive difference in our community! ❤️

New month means a new training! This month we will be going over Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Intentional Teaching Strategies with Cheri McConnell. Join us in an engaging discussion with fellow family childcare providers on Tuesday 10/27 6:30- 8pm.

As always this training is free to members and available in-person and on Zoom.

🤗 Some of our members got together tonight to assemble our learning kits for United Way Weld County 's Project Connect event next Thursday. We have plenty of books and kits to give to families in our community thanks to the MANY donations from our recent book drive and Lakeshore Learning.

🚀The QRIS Provisional Level 3 beta is LIVE! 🚀

Today, September 20, marks the launch of the QRIS Provisional Level 3 beta as Colorado continues its 19-month transition to a refreshed Quality Improvement System (QIS).

Early childhood programs can choose to participate in the interim process or remain at their current rating. CDEC will provide resources and support throughout the transition to help programs understand the process and prepare for the refreshed QIS.

We are excited to begin a Book Drive to collect new and gently used books for children and youth in our community! 📚❤️ If you have children’s or young adult books that you’re ready to pass along, we would love to give them a new home where they can inspire a love of reading.
