Last week, we unpacked what Housing Stability means.

You may also remember the names Reading Great by 8 and Thrive by 25. These two are now under Cradle to Career.

Cradle to Career’s focus is in two parts.

Through Priority 1 of our Strategic Plan (shift from a direct service and gap-filling organization to a Collective Impact organization), it supports Weld County from pre-birth to entering the workforce to set them up for success.

Through Priority 2 of our Strategic Plan to support capacity building for child care providers, it allows direct support from our staff to support child care providers and alleviate the stress caused by Weld County being a child care desert.

In the first quarter of 2026, 211 Colorado received 1,099 calls from Weld County…and met over 97% of the need.

211 is more than just three numbers. It’s a lifeline.

On average, the Covering Weld Diaper Bank gets 55,000 diapers out each month to support families in need.

Inventory is low. Which means so is the number of diapers supporting the nearly 10,000 babies in need in Weld County every day.

But you can help.

Our Community Leaders Luncheon focused on Housing Stability.

But what does that mean? You may remember the names Weld’s Way Home and Aging Well.

Now, they are together under Housing Stability! This work helps get and keep Weld County comfortably housed and, if they aren’t yet, supports their journey toward housing.
