Too many times I’ve heard women say “well he never actually hit me”. But domestic abuse is so much more than that! If you are living through any of these scenarios, KNOW that Jesus loves you & wants you to be free to find a new life of peace!

“But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bo***ge in such cases. But God has called us to peace.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I believe this doesn’t just mean physical abandonment but also emotional abandonment. God did not call us to live in bo***ge, He called us to peace!

This is a song from my childhood that I had to make a lyric video for because I love it so much! It is basically Psalm 61 in song form! It is such a beautiful analogy of how we can go to Jesus in our dark place and as we start worshipping Him and getting our eyes on Him, we can change our mindset even if we can’t change our circumstances. 🙏🏻
