As U.S. Clubhouse Week of Action comes to a close, we are grateful for the opportunity to welcome Commissioner Melissa LaGrand to Sheldon Clubhouse this week for a tour, meaningful conversation, and connection with our members.

Members shared their experiences and discussed the important role Clubhouse plays in supporting goals related to employment, education, wellness, connection, and recovery. Conversations like these help build greater understanding of the importance of community based mental health supports and the impact they have on individuals and our community as a whole.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are proud to open our doors this week to community leaders during the US Clubhouse Week of Action, May 4 to 8, alongside Clubhouses around the US.

As programs of Cherry Health, Sheldon Clubhouse and our sister program Lakeside Clubhouse provide community based, recovery oriented services that empower people living with serious mental illness to pursue goals in employment, education, housing, and wellness.
