Thank you for your prayers for vocations in our diocese! We are blessed this year to have 9 new seminarians discerning whether they are being called to the priesthood. This gives us a total of 24 seminarians for the academic year!

Please keep these 24, along with all of our priests, in your prayers.

Last Saturday, Bishop Walkowiak had the joy of ordaining three men to the priesthood! Fathers Logan, Charlie and Hunter are such a blessing to our diocese. We thank them for their "yes" to God and to serving his Church. May He bless them and their ministry. Please keep them in their prayers as they begin to shepherd their flock!

Bishop Walkowiak gave a wonderful shoutout to our seminarians at the end of the Chrism Mass, a Mass where the clergy renew the promises made during their ordination. This Mass is often very impactful to men discerning the priesthood, so Bishop Walkowiak's words were quite touching:

"I'd like to especially acknowledge our diocesan seminarians. You know for some time now we have been praying for vocations, and we know there are a lot of them out there, but these men have actually answered the call and discerned that they are to be in the seminary and so we want you know that as you hear this prayer prayed in a few seconds, know that we're praying for you and wish you every success in discerning and continuing to follow God's call in your life"
