Every sorted donation, every warm welcome, every item placed in the hands of a neighbor in need, it happens because of people like these. We are so grateful for the volunteers who show up week after week and pour their time, energy, and heart into our mission.

"I just want to say how much I appreciate your organization and the support you give to the community. Everything is getting more and more expensive these days. It's nice to know that there are resources available to help families."

600 volunteers walk through the doors of DeVos Place every August.

They come from all walks of life. They range in age from teenagers to retirees. Many come back year after year because the experience stays with them.

What they share is simple: a willingness to kneel down, fit a small foot carefully, and make a child feel like they have the best shoes for the best school year.

Not into shoes? We have a role for you, too! Whether greeting families or organizing stacks of boxes, we can find a place for your generous energy.

Volunteer shifts are just 3.5 hours. Registration for groups is open now. Stay tuned to sign up as an individual volunteer. We thank you.
