At Center for Independence, we’d like to take a moment to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers who have worked tirelessly to support our mission. We are truly fortunate to have such a dedicated group of individuals who come in and work alongside our amazing staff and consumers.

Our staff feel so lucky to have your help, but it’s our consumers who benefit the most from learning and growing with you as peers. From assisting with simple tasks to navigating high-tech items, our volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to the table!

We’re incredibly grateful to United Way of Mesa County for their support! Their grant has played a key role in helping 26 individuals with disabilities find, obtain, or keep safe housing. Thank you for investing in our community. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in 2026!

211 is a free, easy-to-remember helpline that connects individuals and families with important services and resources in our local communities. Services are available Monday to Friday 8 AM-5 PM.
