We have been working on a special project and it’s here!!! One of our board members ,Celeste Detwiler has written this sweet book as a fundraiser for the children’s home. Illustration by local artist Josh Anderson. Such a fun book!! A little Swahili dabbled in for kiddos to learn some new fun words. 100% of the profits go to CWH. Let us know if you would like a copy or two for yourself.

When it comes to education in Kenya they start them very young. It is the way that will best the odds is with education. Here we have our little Micheal looking very studious. Pray for the children here as they will be returning for their final quarter of school this next week.

Can we have a moment for some congratulations!! Two of our children, James and Norah from the children’s home just qualified for the Regional chess match and get to travel to Nairobi. ALSO…. Out of 17 players at Tobiah Christian academy 16 of them qualified to go as well!!! What a Big accomplishment!!! Congratulations to all the kids who have put in so much time!!

This little guy is Sammy. The first picture is from the week he came to Tobiah home in 2019. He was about a year old and he was a very sick baby. He weighed way less then he should and had pneumonia and my motherly instincts was to hold him until he got better. With Time and love he grew and became a rambunctious young man. Around 2.5 years ago his mother came back into the picture and the goverment said he needed to go back with her. Without our knowledge after about 6 months he was taken out of his mother’s home and put into a goverment rescue center. Paperwork had not been filed the way it was supposed to and No one knew he had been at Tobiah home for 5 years so no one contacted our house parents. LONG story shorter Sammy is now back home where he belongs at Tobiah home. He is now in need of a sponsor to join us on his journey back to school and beyond. If you’re that partner let us know. Sammy’s story is one of 42 different stories at Tobiah children’s home and why we do what we do with your help.

Pretty proud of these three. Joshua, Enoch and James were selected to play in a tournament special team. First game won… on to the next!
