Hi, Iā€™m Juke, and if youā€™ve got a job for me, I would love to hear about it. Iā€™m an extremely handler-focused boy who absolutely thrives on learning, working, and having something productive to do. Training? Amazing. Learning new skills? Even better. Spending time with my person while using my brain? Pretty much my dream. Iā€™m the kind of dog who wants partnershipā€”not just a home, but a teammate.
Because of that, Iā€™d do best with someone experienced with shepherds or other working breeds who understands what dogs like me need to thrive. I love playing fetch with my people, and Iā€™ll need both mental and physical outlets to keep me happy and fulfilled. Cats and young kids arenā€™t a fit for me, and I do best with select dog friends. But for the right personā€”the kind who loves structure, training, and building a real bond with their dogā€”Iā€™m going to be an absolutely incredible partner.

Lorenzo is a middle aged husky who has ice blue eyes and is ready to be your BFF. He LOVES humans including kids. He enjoys getting affection from his humans and pets all over.Ā 
He is an active dog who enjoys walks, runs, and playing with other dogs his size. He would love to go on adventures with his new family! He also enjoys napping with his humans after some playtime.Ā 
He has high prey drive, as many huskies do, so his ideal family would not have any cats or other small animals.Ā He would do best in a home with a fenced yard.
Lorenzo is such a fun, floofy dog - we love him and we know you will too!

Tune in to see Roxy, our KKCO dog of the week, on the midday news today at 12:30!


Roxy is a beautiful, athletic mixed-breed girl with a heart full of love and a coat that is essentially non-shedding. She thrives on human affection and absolutely melts when you gently rub her face, ears, and neck. If youā€™re looking for a dog who loves to connect with her people, Roxy is ready to be your devoted companion.

Roxy would do best with an active family who can provide regular physical exercise along with mental enrichment and training. She knows the commands ā€œsit,ā€ ā€œcome,ā€ and ā€œdown,ā€ and responds especially well when treats are involved. Roxy is crate-trained and settles nicely in her crate after she has had a chance to burn off some energy.

Roxy has done well around other dogs during walks and has demonstrated excellent play skills with a neighborhood German Shepherd. Like many young, enthusiastic dogs, Roxy is still working on her manners. With structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, she continues to improve every day.

Roxy is incredibly easy to love. She combines beauty, affection, intelligence, and enthusiasm into one wonderful package. She is looking for a family who will appreciate her loving nature, continue guiding her training, and give her the active life she enjoys. In return, sheā€™ll reward you with endless affection and loyal companionship.

4 year old female Cattle Dog/GSP mix

Hope is an affectionate, loyal girl who is now recovered from a concussion she received from a vehicle accident. She is slightly challenged when walking ,however, she can still run full speed for short distances.

Her optimal life would include continued training, shorter walks in cooler weather, playing food and toy games for enrichment and living indoors with her favorite person or family.

She currently is being fostered in a quiet home with no other dogs and does great with cats! She is potty trained and crate trained. She may prefer to be the only dog due to her loyalty to people.

She will need calm guidance in new environments. She is lower energy and quiet in the morning but will need small sessions of activity and engagement throughout the day due to her ā€œworking-breedā€ temperament. She would be a great fit for someone who would continue to help her learn new things and enrich her life through new experiences.

She always wants to be by your side and will need a trusted loving leader for companionship and guidance.
