It all started with two little boys and a mom with a camera. ❤️📸

Hi! I'm Missy, Mom to Riley & Carter. Wife to Steve. 4th grade teacher for 30 years. Sports fanatic. Photographer.

HOW IT STARTED: I just wanted great pictures of my boys doing what they loved. So, I invested in a “real camera,” learned how to use it, and spent countless hours on the sidelines and the computer figuring things out. Lots of trial and error, a little “spray and pray,” and thousands of photos later, I was hooked!

HOW IT'S GOING: Those little boys are grown, one is playing college baseball, and I've made some incredible memories and lifelong friendships along the way. Somewhere between all those games and sidelines, I fell in love with sports photography. The action, the emotion, the moments you can't recreate. It's still where my heart is.

THE PLOT TWIST: A co-worker wouldn’t take no for an answer when she asked me to take her family photos because she believed in my creativity before I did. Turns out, I love portraits, too! Getting to know people, capturing their personalities, and making them feel happy and confident has become another part of photography I love.

WHAT MATTERS TO ME: The people. The moments. The little details. I put my heart into every shoot and every edit because I know how much these photos will mean years down the road.

I never planned on becoming a photographer, much less someone people would actually pay to take photos for them. I just followed my boys, my camera, and something I loved. Along the way, some pretty amazing people believed in me, encouraged me, and trusted me with their memories.
And I'm so grateful for where it's taken me. Can't wait to see where it goes next!
