German American Club Our goal is to promote the culture, heritage and history of the German peoples. I seldom check the messages here.

We meet the last Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM only for Stammtisch at the Rockslide Restaurant-4th and Main, we no longer have official meetings. If anyone is at all interested in viewing the list of local WWII Veterans interviewed for The WWII Project, those interviews transcribed and available to be read; PM me at James Kenneth Witt or contact me at 970-209-9241, talk or text. I would be happy to talk with you about your interests in WWII. Some of the names could be known to you, such as Ben Carnes, Joe Prinster, Chuck Kornman.

Never forget why the Greatest Generation fought and won WWII. This is why I personally am involved with the World War II Project. Find it here on FB and like it so it reaches more people. I am in the process of finishing transcribing 75+ raw interviews with local WWII Veterans and checking them for correctness before I begin posting them on the WWII Project Page.
