I wrote this a long time ago and it’s still 1000% true today. ..
🧢⚾️❤️I'm writing this to share what it's like to be a coaches wife and to hopefully make those who see a coach to make sure to thank them. It's a perspective from my eyes. Before you start replying with your comments, I know that this life was the coaches choice. It's a thankless, endless, time consuming, time away from family, personal plans, things that need done at home, missed events and more. A coach is a person who literally puts the kids on his team first, teaching them to not only learn the fundamentals of the sport but to be good people. Teaching them respect, responsibility, teamwork, drive, and to hopefully be ready to move to the next level. My Coach has taught so many kids and has watched them with pride as they grow and move on to the next level. Coaching is hard, once a good coach commits himself to your child he doesn't give up. He sees them thru all the hours of practices in rain, snow or shine. He is at games and practices despite being dead tired from the other life he has. He often misses out on his own personal life because he doesn't give up on your kid. He believes in your children and teaches them to believe in themselves. I hope that if you have had a coach in your life like my Coach that you appreciate him and know the lengths he goes to for you. ❤️
