The wind did some serious damage to a beautiful tree at the corner of Moonridge Drive and Moonridge Circle last night. This is how it looked first thing this morning. A tree company had it all cleaned up by 10:30 a.m. The City was also called about the damage street sign.

I counted seven big fish all hanging close together, sunning themselves in the pond in Moonridge Falls Park yesterday.

Somehow, four large fish made it through the winter in the Moonridge Falls pond, even after the silt excavation in the big part of the pond last year. These guys deserve a prize🏆. Zoom in close and you'll see 'em soaking up the warm sun.

I called ClearNetworx to find out if it's okay to remove the flags in the lawns marking the locations of utilities, since it seems like construction of the fiber network in our neighborhood is finished. They said their workers remove all of the flags when they are done working, so please leave them in place as long as you can. They should be pulling them out sometime within the next two weeks. If the flags are still in your lawn after 2 more weeks, you can go ahead and pull them out. If you have already pulled them out, please leave them together in a visible spot on your lawn, and ClearNetworx employees will collect them.

Update on the irrigation water just now from the HOA Board:

"Hello - water was turned on Wednesday, but there was a break in a resident's line that needed repairing. The repair has been completed. However, due to the anticipated "hard freeze" over the weekend, we will wait until Monday to turn the water back on.

Thanks for your understanding!"

The HOA Board sent the following message about the irrigation water:

"Hello - the water will be turned on Wednesday, April 15th. Please check your valves and make sure they are closed so you avoid flooding your yard.

Great news, Moonridge Falls residents! Somebody turned a valve somewhere, and the irrigation pond is now rapidly filling up with water! The big variable speed irrigation pump is not on yet, though, so don't start those sprinklers up yet... We'll need enough water in the pond to make that safe, first.

Good news this morning! The Government Highline Canal has started filling up! Irrigation water should follow after this main canal north of town has filled up, the headgates are opened and the water has had a chance to flow down into the valley and fill the laterals.
