Frederick Women's Distance Festival The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club hosts this 5K (3.1 mile) race. Net proceeds benefit the Women's Giving Circle of Frederick County.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 participants. What a great day! We had record-breaking participation with 739 registrants. Our runners must be telling their friends and family about our race!

Hannah Toth won this year's race with a time of 18:21. Congratulations Hannah!

Everyone who crossed that finish line, regardless of finish time, was a testament to the spirit of women's running and fitness. There was so much support and love out there today. Well done!

Good morning runners and walkers! It's Race Day, the weather is perfect, and we're ready for you!

Please remember to thank the volunteers you encounter this morning. They are getting up very early today to bring you a GREAT race.

We're back at the Frederick Community College Student Center today 4-7pm for Packet Pickup. Room H262 (second floor).

Yesterday our volunteer team distributed 282 packets and we're aiming another 200 today!

While supplies last, we're still giving away FREE race shirts from previous years. If you're local, picking up your packet early will save you time tomorrow!

We'll be at the Frederick Community College Student Center today 4-7pm for Packet Pickup. Room H262 (second floor). Can't make it today? We'll do it again tomorrow!

If you're local, picking up your packet early will save you time on race morning. Plus you'll have a better chance of snagging one of our swag bags which will go to the first 600 runners who pick up their packets. And then there's our prize wheel drawing today - until all prizes have been awarded. The GRAND PRIZE is a $500 shopping spree at Nelson Coleman Jewelers! AND finally - we're GIVING AWAY race shirts from previous years.

So many reasons to come to early packet pickup!

Picking up your packet on Thursday/Friday will save you time on race morning. Enter at the main door of Student Center and follow the signs to the second floor. As an added incentive, we'll be doing random prize drawings at early packet pickup on Thursday AND giving away previous years race shirts both days (while supplies last). The Grand Prize at the random prize drawing on Thursday is a $500 Shopping Spree at Nelson-Coleman Jewelers in Frederick!

We highly recommend early packet pickup if you can make it to avoid lines and congestion on race morning.
