Our kindergarten students had a blast getting hands-on with science! Through experimenting, observing, and asking questions, our students are learning that science is all about curiosity, discovery, and figuring out how the world works.

We officially survived the first week!

The first week of school is officially in the books, and our Administrative Team wanted to give our amazing faculty and staff “Just a Little Treat for Surviving the First Week!”

From early mornings to busy classrooms, new routines, and everything in between, our teachers and staff have poured so much energy and love into making the first week a success.

We are so grateful for the incredible people who make SJRCS such a special place.

🧡 Standing Together in Faith & Hope 🧡

Today, on World Leukemia Day, our SJRCS community proudly wore orange to boldly support and stand with all those who have fought, are fighting, and have been impacted by leukemia. We are keeping these individuals and their families in our prayers.

Earlier this morning, our community participated in a special Eucharistic Procession, led by Fr. Williamson. We are grateful he blessed each of our classrooms and offices, reminding us that Christ is at the heart of all that we do at SJRCS.

Today was also a beautiful beginning to our school year as we celebrated our first Mass of the school year!

What a beautiful way to begin our school year...rooted in faith, united in community, and walking with Christ. ✝️🧡

🧪🍦 Who says science class can’t be fun AND tasty?!

Our middle school scientists put their skills to the test with a homemade ice cream experiment! From mixing ingredients to learning how ice and salt work together to lower the freezing point, students got to see science in action and enjoy a delicious result.

Hands-on learning, a little teamwork, and a sweet reward at the end!

Science never tasted so good!

🐾❤️ A Special Welcome Back to SJRCS!

We were so excited to welcome Jennifer Lindstrom from the Archdiocese of Baltimore (AOB) to campus yesterday as we kicked off the first day of school!

Jennifer helps AOB schools use data, technology, and student information systems to support student success and strengthen school-wide decision-making.

But yesterday, it was all about the students! Jennifer was thrilled to see our building filled with happy students, smiling faces, and the energy that comes with the start of a new school year.

We’re grateful for the support of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and for Jennifer taking the time to celebrate the start of another wonderful year with our SJRCS community!
