Iran's Oldest Protestant Church — Confiscated
St. Peter's Evangelical Church in Tehran has stood for generations — a home for Muslim, Jewish, and Zoroastrian converts to Christ, and a refuge for families displaced by war. Now it's been seized by the state, its residents evicted, following the demolition of a sister church in Mashhad.
No more than a handful of Protestant churches remain open in Iran. But the Church there was never built on buildings — it lives on in homes, in hidden gatherings, in believers who won't stop worshiping.
Join us in prayer:
🙏 For the displaced families
🙏 For underground believers
🙏 For the gospel to keep spreading, even now
"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." — John 1:5
