We are excited to welcome Dr. Joe Dziezgowski as the new Saddle Up! Facilities Director.

Joe brings more than 20 years of leadership and operational management experience, having led teams, managed business operations, and driven organizational growth across healthcare, education, and entrepreneurial organizations. In addition, he has extensive experience working with horses and livestock and currently owns Liberty Creek Equine, where he provides chiropractic care for equine, bovine, and canine clients.

We are thrilled to have Joe at Saddle Up! and look forward to the experience, energy, and leadership he will bring to our facilities operations.

Chukkers For Charity is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year! We are excited to celebrate this annual event with our community on Saturday, September 12.

Thirty years of high-scoring charity polo has been made possible because of generous sponsors, our supportive donor community, the Chukkers for Charity Committee and an amazing roster of polo players who make the day exciting! All of these contributions power life-changing programs at Rochelle Center and Saddle Up!, making a real, lasting impact for adults with developmental disabilities and children benefitting from equine-assisted therapies.

As the event approaches, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the community partners who celebrate our missions.

A huge thank you to the fantastic group of Belmont University Occupational Therapy graduate students who joined us at the farm for their Annual Day of Service.

Every year, the future OT professionals bring incredible energy, heart, and dedication to our mission, and this visit was no exception. Saddle Up! therapist Sandra Z provided this group with a great program overview, which inspired this hardworking crew. They accomplished a massive amount of farm maintenance in just one day.

We are deeply grateful for the 25 Belmont University volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to complete 75 Total Service Hours which supported our community. They tackled fall session prep projects including: scrubbing and organizing groom boxes, deep-cleaning the lobby play area, and weeding flower beds so our facility is fresh and ready for upcoming lessons.

A big thank you to Belmont for their ongoing partnership and for the OT students' commitment to supporting adaptive riding and therapy. Thank you for helping us keep Saddle Up! beautiful, safe, and ready to welcome our riders back for Fall!

It takes a whole community to make this magic happen—from our dedicated volunteers and incredible horses to our skilled physical and occupational therapists, riding instructors, and supporters.

We are officially two weeks away from Chukkers For Charity, and tickets are selling fast! Come out to Riverview Farm to watch Team Land Rover Nashville go head-to-head against Team Andrews Cadillac to see who will carry the championship trophy back to Andrews Transportation Group! 🚗✨

As Tennessee’s largest and highest-grossing charity polo match, Chukkers for Charity has raised over $3 million since 1996 to directly benefit the incredible programs at Saddle Up! and Rochelle Center.

🍂🐴 Fall at the farm is officially underway! 🐴🍂

What an incredible first week of Fall Therapy Services and Adaptive Riding at Saddle Up! Our arenas were once again filled with riders reconnecting with their horses, building skills, gaining confidence, and experiencing the joy that comes from time in the saddle.

And our riders weren’t the only ones starting something new! Two very special faces passed their evaluations and are officially joining our therapy herd for lessons. Please give a BIG Saddle Up! welcome to Clifford and Buddy! 👏🐴❤️

There is something special about the beginning of a new session: new goals, new partnerships, familiar faces, and plenty of opportunities to grow.

We can’t wait to see what our riders, therapists, instructors, volunteers, and incredible therapy horses accomplish together this fall.

There is something special about working somewhere where the mission is visible every single day. At Saddle Up!, our team works together to create opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities to grow, gain confidence, build skills, and experience the incredible connection that happens through the power of the horse.

We are currently looking for two talented people to join our team:

🐴 Program Administrator
We are searching for someone with equine-assisted knowledge and experience who understands both the horse world and the importance of creating an exceptional experience for our riders and families. This role is at the heart of helping our programs run smoothly and ensuring the families we serve feel welcomed, informed, and supported.

💙 Individual Donor Manager
We are looking for a relationship-driven fundraiser who loves connecting people to a mission that matters. This position will cultivate and steward individual donors, build meaningful relationships, and grow the philanthropic resources that make Saddle Up!’s programs possible.
