We’re excited to announce a new Foster Friendly® partnership with Camel Express Car Wash!

With children constantly climbing in and out, spills, crumbs, muddy shoes, and everyday messes are simply part of the journey.

While a car wash may seem like a small gesture, it can provide a meaningful moment of relief for a caregiver carrying a heavy load. Getting into a freshly cleaned vehicle can offer a foster parent a chance to take a deep breath, reset, and feel cared for themselves.

Camel Express Car Wash is now honoring foster and kinship families who have a valid Tennessee Kids Belong Foster Friendly® Discount Card by providing one FREE “Best” Car Wash per family each year.

Additionally, families who continue to visit Camel Express Car wash after their first free visit, will be entered into an exclusive drawing to receive a free year car wash membership!

Since launching our Foster Friendly® partnership with the Middle Tennessee YMCA last July, 57 foster and kinship families have taken advantage of this special opportunity to prioritize their health and well-being.

And the impact doesn't stop there! Across Tennessee, we now have 25 YMCA partnerships offering Foster Friendly® discounts and support for families caring for children in foster care. These partnerships help remove barriers, create opportunities for connection, and remind caregivers that their health matters too.

When foster and kinship families are supported, children thrive.

Come swing by Pickleball Kingdom Nashville North - Hendersonville on Thursday night, watch some local Hendersonville businesses and foster families play pickleball and grab some delicious food from our Foster Friendly pals Cuban Cracker Family Kitchen!!!

We’re proud to work with Tennessee Kids Belong all year long, and we can honestly say their entire organization is amazing. They do incredible work supporting children, families, and communities across Tennessee.

We hope you’ll sign up, support their mission, and have an amazing time at the event.

Oh, and one more thing… we’ll be there serving up some of your Cuban Cracker favorites!

Hendersonville!! This one’s for YOU! 💥

When we kicked off Foster Friendly Hendersonville last August, we started with 23 Foster Friendly Businesses. We had BIG dreams to get to 7️⃣5️⃣ by the end of our first year.

We are so excited to announce that we are 5️⃣ away from hitting this goal!!!!

Businesses like Pizza Ranch are proudly displaying their sticker on their windows.

When a family visits a Foster Friendly Business and sees that sticker, it immediately says “You are welcome here!”

We’re excited to welcome Nascar Speedpark in Sevierville, Tennessee as one of our newest Foster Friendly® Businesses! Tennessee is one of the states leading the charge in a new federal initiative known as “A Home for Every Child.” The state’s latest numbers show Tennessee needs an additional 3,081 foster families to meet the new federal initiative, which seeks to establish a one-to-one ratio — one foster home for every child in foster care.

"It will be a challenge," said Lindsay Coleman, executive director of statewide specialized support services. "...I think we can get there.”
