We are a non-profit preschool and pediatric therapy clinic in Franklin, TN.

Our mission is to equip children, youth, and their families with the skills necessary to succeed through education, therapeutic services, and loving support.

In honor of Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) Awareness Month, we’re sharing a reminder for families: feeding therapy helps kids safely expand foods and textures—at their own pace. 💙

Feeding challenges like refusing entire food groups, only accepting specific textures, or mealtimes that feel stressful can happen at any age. When a child’s limited diet begins to impact growth, nutrition, or family routines, a speech-language pathologist (SLP) can help using evidence-based strategies to build comfort and tolerance with new foods—while also supporting mealtime routines and reducing anxiety around eating.

Try these low-pressure ideas at home:
🎨 Food Art (explore without pressure to eat)
👨‍🍳 Junior Chef (kids are more likely to try foods they help prepare)
📚 Food-Themed Storytime (read about foods, then explore them together)
