…and so it begins! Today started Leadership Frankfort class of 2027.
We want to Thank John Senter and Taylor from Serafini Restaurant Frankfort, KY for sponsoring the Orientation today to kick off our year in such a big way!

Thank you to our friend Virgil R. Grant for being our facilitator all day and making us think, and laugh and see things differently!

2026 - 2027 Leadership Frankfort Application are now extended to Friday, September 4th at 5 pm.

*Only one person per organization will be accepted into the program. Each organization must decide who their ONE candidate will be.

***Please send an email to Tish Shade at [email protected] once you submit to make sure we received your application***

*Applicants are graded on: Community Service, Leadership Experience, Reason for Participation, personal insight (on question) and 2 Recommendation Letters. Don't forget your headshot!

To apply: Be ready to submit (2) letters of Recommendation and an updated Resume by DEADLINE - September 4th AT 5 PM.

Commitment-

A serious time commitment is involved in the Leadership Frankfort program. If you are unable to make this commitment, please defer your application until another time.

Each Leadership day is a full day, typically beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending by 4:00 p.m.

Attendance Policy-

To graduate from Leadership Frankfort, a participant is required to attend at least 8 of the 9 FULL sessions plus Mandatory Orientation and Graduation.

All Leadership Days begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Attendees will receive notification any time their absenteeism has placed their continued participation in the program at risk.

Absenteeism may result in your being dropped from the program. If dropped from the program you may have to finish the requirements the next class year and graduate a year late.

• Orientation attendance is mandatory

• One full day per month for nine months.

• Sessions will take place on the third Thursday of each month.

• Make sure you can commit BEFORE you apply.

DEADLINE TO APPLY - September 4th AT 5 PM.
