2026 - 2027 Leadership Frankfort Application are now OPEN!

*Only one person per organization will be accepted into the program. Each organization must decide who their ONE candidate will be.

*Applicants are graded on: Community Service, Leadership Experience, Reason for Participation, personal insight (on question) and 2 Recommendation Letters. Don't forget your headshot!

To apply: Be ready to submit (2) letters of Recommendation and an updated Resume by DEADLINE - August 14th AT 5 PM.

Commitment-

A serious time commitment is involved in the Leadership Frankfort program. If you are unable to make this commitment, please defer your application until another time.

Each Leadership day is a full day, typically beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending by 4:00 p.m.

Attendance Policy-

To graduate from Leadership Frankfort, a participant is required to attend at least 8 of the 9 FULL sessions plus Mandatory Orientation and Graduation.

All Leadership Days begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Attendees will receive notification any time their absenteeism has placed their continued participation in the program at risk.

Absenteeism may result in your being dropped from the program. If dropped from the program you may have to finish the requirements the next class year and graduate a year late.

• Orientation attendance is mandatory

• One full day per month for nine months.

• Sessions will take place on the third Thursday of each month.

• Make sure you can commit BEFORE you apply.

Join us for a Business After Hours on the Bourbon Belle with Canoe Kentucky and Kentucky River Tours!

We will take a boat tour and float down the Kentucky River.
We will have 2 boat tours - First one leaving at 5:15 and the second leaving at 6:15.. The max capacity for each tour is 48.
