The Capital Expo Festival Funnel Cake 5k will take place on Saturday June 1, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. Proceeds from the race are going to WeWannaPlay.WeWannaPlay is on a mission to make sure every financially qualifying Franklin County student athlete that wishes to participate in middle or high school varsity sports has that opportunity and is not held back by the escalating costs of uniforms, equipment

, fees, etc...In less than two short years of existence; WeWannaPlay, Inc. has proudly sponsored over 350 Franklin County student athletes with contributions of over $15,000 at all three local high schools in the varsity sports of; Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track, Volleyball, and Wrestling.
