It's "Coffee With Cats & Donuts With Dogs" Day at the LIFE House! Come out between 10 AM - 11 AM this morning (June 13th) to enjoy donuts, coffee, and time with our kitties and dogs. Volunteers will be available to give shelter tours and to show you some of our adoptable animals. This is a FREE community event! All kids 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the visit.

Fantastic Furry Friday News!!

Look at all the wonderful dogs and cats that found their forever over the past few weeks! We hope they are enjoying their new chance at life with lots of treats and cuddles. Thank you to all of our adopters!

Some of our dogs are rarely seen at events or during visiting times at Lifehouse, because they are in foster homes. These guests are less likely to thrive in a shelter environment, but it does not mean that they are any less loveable! So we re-introduce to you Simba, Clyde, Pearl, and Maggie.

Cloud is a 3-year-old Siamese mix with a playful personality and an even bigger heart!

Cloud gets along great with other cats and is completely non-confrontational. His favorite thing is having a friend to play with. While he may be a big boy, he's really just one giant love bug who wants attention, companionship, and fun.

Doggy Book Club is TODAY (6/11) from 10 - 12noon at the shelter (14 Fido Ct)! This is a great event for kids to come and read a book to a dog (or cat!). Volunteers will lead kids in a craft activity before reading time. We ask that adults stay for the duration of the event with their kid. This is a FREE event thanks to our sponsor First Federal Savings Bank of Kentucky! No RSVP necessary - just show up!
