Kentucky Council for the Social Studies

Kentucky Council for the Social Studies The Kentucky Council for the Social Studies (KCSS) serves as the primary voice for social studies education in Kentucky.

Our membership exists to inform, educate and advocate on behalf of not only social studies educators at all levels (elementary, middle, high, pre-service and post-secondary), but also of students throughout the Commonwealth. Our goal is to foster a collaborate community through which we'll provide a wide array of services to members throughout the state. KCSS is an affiliate member of the National

Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). Membership

Becoming a member of KCSS is one of the most beneficial acts a social studies educator in Kentucky can do. Members receive subscriptions to the Southern Social Studies Journal, the official journal of the Kentucky Council for the Social Studies, as well being afforded special member only offerings. For more information, please visit the KCSS website at kcss.org. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
