We're grateful every day for your thoughtful leadership and the way you keep our community's needs at the heart of everything we do. Your commitment to making resources and support truly accessible to nonprofits creates ripples of impact that reach far beyond what we can see.

Sometimes the smallest moments hold the biggest gifts. Our Senior Program Manager, Charnae Sanders, shares a beautiful reminder from her recent mental health day:

"One of the simple joys I experienced was finally using my new coffee machine to make a brown sugar latte. Having the spaciousness to slow down and savor the flavor and moment alongside my loved ones, without reaching for my phone or laptop, was just what I needed. It reminded me of the importance of creating space to just be – so we can experience gratitude for the present moment."

What small joy are you making space for today? 💛

Whether you receive funding or not, your cultural heritage work has value. Grants are one path for support, but not the only path. Some of the most meaningful community work happens through creativity, collaboration, and small steps forward. Trust your instincts, celebrate your courage for applying, and know that your community needs what you have to offer. Keep going! What does your cultural heritage work mean to your community? We'd love to hear your stories.

Something powerful happened when we brought our Co.Lab Connect providers into the same room. What started as a planning session became a collective reimagining of nonprofit support. The energy was clear: providers want to break down silos between themselves and create more seamless support pathways for the organizations that they serve. Everyone was excited for an integrated approach that prioritizes relationship-building, shared learning, deeper impact.

This feedback is shaping how we're evolving Co.Lab 2.0 to be more collaborative, connected, and centered on what our nonprofit community truly needs. Stay tuned for more updates as we grow!

Whether you're feeling stuck on a section or energized by your vision, both feelings are valid. Be sure to take breaks and ask for help when you need it.
