What if your organization could move from surviving to thriving?

Next Tuesday, we're exploring practical ways nonprofit leaders can build cultures of wellbeing: for individuals, for entire teams, and for the communities we serve.

Join Wayfinding Partners for 90 minutes of real talk, useful tools, and collective wisdom about sustaining both the work and the people doing it.

“The goal is a seamless point of entry that assesses an organization’s needs holistically and coordinates support across the network.” - Shamyle Maya Dobbs, co-CEO, Michigan Community Resources

Five nonprofit support organizations are working together to create a more coordinated path to assistance for Southeast Michigan nonprofits navigating legal, financial, operational and advocacy challenges.

The Transforming Solidarity Collective includes: Michigan Community Resources, Community Development Advocates of Detroit, Co.act Detroit, Michigan Nonprofit Association and NEW Nonprofit Enterprise at Work.

The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation is proud to join the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation, The Kresge Foundation, the McGregor Fund, and The Skillman Foundation in supporting this collaborative effort to strengthen the region’s nonprofit sector.

Good food brings people together, and we've partnered with some incredible local vendors who understand that nourishing your body is part of taking care of yourself.

Meet who's feeding our community at Unwind:

🍝 Plenti Pasta's +More – Fresh, locally-sourced pasta dishes with their signature low-sodium blends (because flavor shouldn't come with compromise)

🥖 Western Market – A Metro Detroit landmark for 40+ years, bringing you Michigan-made favorites and food prepared with integrity

🍪 Yumaste Mindful Bakery – Organic, adaptogen-infused treats that taste amazing and support your wellness journey

🥯 Panera Bread – Warm, welcoming food you can feel good about

Breakfast and lunch are included because we know you can't fully unwind when you're thinking about your next meal. Just show up on July 23 ready for nourishment.

When we hosted our first Unwind event last year, we weren't sure what to expect. What we found was a room full of nonprofit leaders who were ready to exhale. You sank into deep stretches, laughed during creative time, and left with actual tools for your wellbeing.

That's why we're bringing it back! This year, Unwind happens on July 23—the eve of International Self-Care Day—and it's designed to be everything you loved about last year, plus some new faces and experiences we're excited to share.

This is our gentle reminder that taking care of yourself is how you keep showing up for the work and communities you love.

Registration is $25, though we never want cost to be a barrier. If the fee presents a challenge, please email our Senior Program Manager, Charnae Sanders at [email protected] for support. RSVP today: https://tinyurl.com/2uwd7uwc

We have something exciting to celebrate! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to share that Drop-in Work Day is now presented by the Jamie & Denise Jacob Family Foundation! Because of their partnership, we can continue creating a space where nonprofit leaders can work alongside one another, exchange ideas, build relationships, and simply know they don’t have to do this work alone.

Look forward to the same great Drop-in Work Day experience of good food, workspace, and collaboration. Now, we’re proud that it’s presented by the Jamie and Denise Jacob Family Foundation.

Thank you for believing in this community alongside us. We can’t wait to welcome you to our next Drop-in Work Day!
