Once again, we teamed up with "The Bridge Man" and his family at our most recent display at Greenfield Village's "All Aboard Adventure" event. Here's a great video they made featuring their time with the Glancy layout which included several of their impressive steel bridge models. Check out his other work as well, it's very impressive!

Our volunteers have been having a lovely time sharing our layout and trains with so many visitors in "The Lodge" at Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village. If you have tickets to one of the upcoming event nights, please stop by and see us!

Below are some favorite scenes that can be viewed on the layout with many old favorites as well as some new.

Michigan Central Depot: this beautiful 2 ft tall 3D printed model made its debut on the layout for this event.

White Castle: The famous castle shaped beacon is a local favorite for some when looking for a quick bite to eat.

Tiger Stadium: Representing the famous "Michigan & Trumbull" corner.

Vics Hot Dog Stand: Some may remember our longtime leader, Victor Bodek, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away a number of years ago. He was famous within our volunteer circle for his love of hot dogs at every event we attended, resulting in this custom creation by one of our volunteers in his memory.

Stellas Diner: stop into this festive eatery for a hearty bite to eat.

Our classic downtown area: featuring a representation of Hudson's Department Store, Vernor's Ginger Ale and much more!

Finally, two beautiful bridges hand built out of steel by "The Bridge Man", Harold Woods Jr. of Rockford, MI. These are just two of his many masterpieces that include a 13' tall replica of the Eiffel Tower.

The Glancy Trains modular layout is currently set up, decorated and running for Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village!

This year we teamed up with "The Bridge Man", creators of many, many beautiful models of real life bridges. Two of their bridges have been incorporated into the Glancy Display, adding new heights to the layout (along with more trains!).

Additionally, our beautiful brand new 3D printed model of the recently restored Michigan Central Railroad Detroit, MI train depot has made its first appearance with the layout.

As always, a HUGE thank you to our great team of volunteers who have put many hours into setting up, decorating, operating and maintaining our layout!

Check out this video overview of the event from "The Bridge Man" YouTube page!
