🎉 We are so proud of the talented students we support at Detroit School of Arts (DSA) and Cass Tech! 🎨

Several of these students will have their artwork featured in the DIA’s 88th Annual DPSCD Student Exhibition, opening this Friday, April 18th at the Detroit Institute of Arts!

This incredible exhibition highlights the imagination and skill of DPSCD students in grades K–12, with work ranging from painting and photography to ceramics, jewelry, and even video art.

Stop by the exhibition in-person on the first floor in the Wayne and Joan Webber Education Wing or view it online via the DIA’s digital gallery. 🖼️

Meet Justin!
9th Grade, Art Club

Justin is currently working on a blue dress that he plans to submit to this year’s fashion show. Even though he’s not taking a fashion class this semester, he’s eager to learn and improve through his own project.

“My inspiration comes from seeing everyone else’s dresses and thinking, ‘I wonder if I can do that.’ I’ve done it before, and I want to try again to practice and get better,” Justin shares.

With fabric, a zipper, and bias tape in hand, Justin is ready to bring his design to life.
