What a proud day!

A Place of Our Own Clubhouse paid tribute to Goodwill’s Green Works at the Clubhouse Michigan Statewide Employment Celebration in Lansing on June 2.

Michigan State House Representative Tyrone Carter presented the proclamation on behalf of A Place of Our Own Clubhouse, a Goodwill of Greater Detroit community intentionally organized to support individuals living with the effects of mental illness.

Vernice Murray, A Place of Our Own Clubhouse director and Corey Galloway, A Place of Our Own Clubhouse member, also were present to honor Goodwill’s Green Works.

The annual Clubhouse event recognizes employers in Michigan who serve Clubhouse members across the state.

Congratulations to the entire Goodwill’s Green Works team! 🏆
