Did you know that 700,000 working-age Michiganders live with a cognitive, hearing, ambulatory or visual disability, and 51% of them are unemployed?

At a time when employers are searching for skilled, dependable talent, hundreds of thousands of Michiganders with disabilities remain underrepresented in the workforce.

But there is a way forward.

In a Job Accommodation Network survey, 94% of employers said accessibility support cost nothing or only a one-time expense, and more than half said the accommodations they put in place were very or extremely effective.

At our new Brighton attended donation center, drop-offs are easy and fast. Simply pull up, and our service team member will unload and bring your donations into the drop-off center.

BONUS: The sale of each of your donations helps Goodwill provide free career training, placement services and support resources for individuals right here in our community who have disabilities and other barriers to employment.
