For 40 years, Artemis Center has supported survivors of domestic violence in the Dayton community. Today, we are proud to share that we’ve expanded our services to also support survivors of sexual violence, helping fill a critical gap in care.

We are here for all survivors, offering compassionate, trauma-informed support every step of the way.

We are thrilled to announce that Artemis Center has been recognized as Agency of the Year in Region 7 by the National Association of Social Workers – Ohio Chapter (NASW Ohio)! This honor reflects our team’s deep commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence in southwest Ohio, and we couldn’t be more proud of the impact we make together every single day.

Even more special — our Executive Director, Jane Keiffer, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Region 7! Jane has served Artemis Center with unwavering dedication for nearly three decades, championing survivors’ safety, healing, and empowerment throughout our community. Her leadership continues to inspire strength, resilience, and compassionate care across every service we provide.
