Color Stamping Activity: Try It at Home! 🖼️
Step 1: Color on a piece of aluminum foil with markers.
Step 2: Lightly spray the foil with water and a little soap.
Step 3: Press the wet foil onto white paper to transfer the colors.
Step 4: Peel the foil away and reveal your masterpiece! ✨🎨💦🖍️
The best part? There’s no “right” way for the artwork to look! This is a simple activity using materials you may already have at home, giving your child the opportunity to experiment with colors and pressure, while creating something completely their own.
As part of Head Start, we make space for children’s artwork where they can see it throughout the classroom. Seeing their names and creations displayed helps children recognize their work and take pride in what they’ve created. So, of course, we had to display our little masterpieces and so should you! 💛
