MAY 29TH - MAY 31ST, 2026: Hunting for trolls this weekend? Pay attention to trail safety. Only the Warbler Way trail remains impacted by flooding. You can access Warbler Way from the farm, however, the section between Bibbi and Bo will stay closed all weekend.

The good news: This closure will NOT impact your ability to see all three trolls during your visit.

We are hiring a Seasonal Assistant Grounds and Maintenance!

Will be responsible for the maintenance of the trails and grounds of Aullwood Audubon’s 200-acre sanctuary. This includes the maintenance of over 8 miles of trails, lawns, sidewalks, patios, and boardwalks. This position will assist with maintaining Aullwood’s facilities and equipment including building and equipment repairs/ maintenance. This position will also be assisting with facilities maintenance issues in the absence of the Senior Assistant Grounds and Maintenance and Maintenance Manager. Length of Assignment: 06/15/2026 – 09/15/2026 Hours: 20 hours per week This role is on-site at Ohio Aullwood Center and Farm. Compensation: $19.00/hour

Join us at Aullwood Farm, 9101 Frederick Pike, Dayton OH, on Saturday, May 16th, from 9am-3pm, for the Greenview Garden Club's Annual Plant sale! This amazing club of dedicated gardeners helped to create Aullwood's Herb Garden and has been taking care of it for 60 years! Proceeds from the sale go back into the Herb Garden and its upkeep! Admission to the sale is free, and the sale will have plants of all kinds for all gardening skill levels!

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day at Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm on Saturday, May 9th! We will have a special activity about unique bird adaptations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the farm and another session of our Spring Beginner Bird Walks from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the nature center. Also, while you are at the farm, play the newly installed migration game and learn about the amazing journey our feathered friends go on each year!

You can also win many free prizes this year. Visitors to the nature center and farm will receive a free poster (while supplies last) and if you play the migration game, you can also claim a small prize at the farm front desk. Lastly, if you register ahead of time at tickets.audubon.org/aullwood/events you can enter to win a free World Migratory Bird Day t-shirt! You must register by 4 p.m., TODAY. You will be contacted by email if you win and you must pick up the t-shirt at the farm front desk on Saturday, May 9th during open hours. We look forward to seeing everyone at Aullwood this weekend!
