Riders, get ready!

Our Americana 250 Cycling Event is happening RAIN OR SHINE this Sunday, October 11! 🌦️ Join us at the Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center for a day of cycling, community, and celebration, no matter what the weather brings!

🌦️ Here’s what to expect:
☁️ Cloudy skies with temperatures around 58°F at the 9 AM start, warming to about 65°F in the afternoon.
🌧️ A chance of rain early in the morning, with additional showers possible between 11 AM and 1 PM.
🚴‍♂️ Wet pavement and slippery surfaces may make portions of the route more challenging.

A few tips to stay safe:
✔️ Dress in layers and bring a lightweight, water-resistant jacket.
✔️ Wear bright, visible clothing and make sure your bike lights are charged.
✔️ Check your brakes and tires before heading out.
✔️ Ride cautiously on wet roads, painted lines, and bridges.
✔️ Bring a change of dry clothes so you can enjoy the festivities afterward!

These kits are a vital resource, equipping our local law enforcement with immediate supplies to help individuals and families during critical times of crisis. Strong community partnerships like this ensure our first responders have the tools they need to protect and support everyone in Greene County.

Basic hygiene essentials aren’t just about cleanliness—it is about dignity. Access to these everyday items boosts student self-esteem, prevents social barriers, and improves classroom attendance by ensuring kids feel confident and ready to learn.

This delivery directly powers our Strong Families program. By lifting the burden of basic needs, we help families achieve housing stability, income security, and academic success by reducing school mobility. When students can stay settled in their schools, they thrive.
