Miami Valley Urban League The Miami Valley Urban League is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving and strengthening the Dayton Community.

The Miami Valley Urban League, a subsidiary of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio, is up and running. Under the direction of the Miami Valley Executive Director, Branford Brown, the Urban League has reestablished itself in the Dayton area. It services Montgomery, Greene, Preble, Miami, and Darke counties. The 63-year-old Dayton Urban League closed in 2010 but has been succeeded as Miami Valley. Prior to closing, Dayton Urban League served about 5,000 clients annually.

Our Story

The Miami Valley Urban League (MVUL), a subsidiary of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio, is up and running. The Urban League reestablished itself in the Dayton area in 2013. It services Montgomery, Greene, Preble, Miami, and Darke counties. The Miami Valley Urban League launched the Solid Opportunities for Advancement and Retention (SOAR) job training program in 2017. MVUL also hosts Midnight Basketball as part of a summer youth initiative. Its Urban Champions program mentors students throughout the school year. Contact us today at [email protected]!
