Bentley brought us immeasurable joy, but he also brought us face-to-face with the fragile reality of life.

While his passing left a hole in our hearts, it also sparked a vital mission. Out of that love, Bentley’s Buddies was born—an organization dedicated to showing up for his friends.

We are turning our "reality" into "relief" for Bentley’s buddies everywhere, ensuring Bentley's legacy is one of action, care, and community.

🎄 The holidays hit differently now. They are quieter, tender, and filled with a longing for moments just like this.

Looking at this photo of our sweet Bentley and his brother I see a gentle handhold, a silent language of brotherhood, and a precious snapshot of a bond that never breaks. We didn't realize back then how much we were just making memories; we just knew we were together.

We miss Bentley every single day, especially during this season. But photos like this are a powerful reminder that time is the most precious currency we have. The greatest gift we ever received was the time we had with him.

Now, we carry his light forward through Bentley's Buddies. It’s our way of turning grief into purpose and honoring the lessons he taught us about slowing down and loving deeply.

If I can offer one piece of advice this holiday season: Please, do not wait for the "perfect" moment. Ignore the noise and the hustle, and just be present. Soak in the messy, beautiful reality of your family right now and hold them a little tighter.
Cherish the moments you have together today, because they become the treasures you hold onto forever.

What an unbelievable day at the third annual golf outing fundraising event for Bentleys Buddies!

We had games, raffles, beer, whiskey tasting, and some awesome golf, along with some pretty terrible golf.

Congratulations to our champs, Connor Pohl and his team, and to our not-so-champs, Tammy Dammeyer, dont forget to return the loser trophy, aka the “Turd Putter”, so we can award it to next years not-so-winners!
