We are proud to be a part of the "Launch into Aviation" multi-day event, made possible from a grant provided by The Engineering and Science Foundation of Dayton. Students from Dayton Public Schools, Kettering City Schools and Northridge Local Schools attended WITH their parent/guardians to explore various aspects of the aviation industry at some of the best locales in the area, including Sinclair College UAS Center, National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and MacAir Aviation. It was really special to see them engage in the curriculum together and the pride and excitement captured here at the FLY DAY out at Greene Co. Regional Airport. 👏

We’d like to thank the AES Ohio Foundation for helping Air Camp make young people aware of STEM careers and for giving them the opportunity to chart clear pathways toward achieving and succeeding in those fields. Their support helps us develop a skilled STEM workforce by inspiring and encouraging young people to pursue further STEM education and careers.

Because of their generosity, Air Camp is able to deliver unique educational experiences that introduce students to STEM concepts, connect them with professionals across numerous aviation-related careers, and build essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and communication.

🤏 There is still a little time to sign up for our last STEM DAY CAMP of 2026 - OCT 24 The Ohio State University Airport in Columbus ⚙️ "Careers in Airport Technical Operations" is an incredible chance for High School students to explore various fields in aviation at a real working airport! From flight planning, crash investigation and pre-flight check protocol, to small aircraft building and pathways to getting a pilot’s license, participants will discover the STEM skills, teamwork, and decision-making that drive runway operations every day. 🙋🏻‍♂️ Registration is only $149 and closes Sept 30.

Last week JROTC students came together for some engaging STEM learning thanks to the continued support of Rafi Rodriguez. Although weather grounded us from flying 🌧️🙅🏻‍♂️🛩️, we still had an electric day of soldering, simulators, coding drones and small engine building at MacAir Aviation. We are looking forward to getting them all up in the skies soon and have high hopes for all of them in the future. 🫡⭐️

We are honored to celebrate Judge Walter H. Rice, a valued member of our Board of Trustees, on his retirement from the federal bench after an extraordinary 46-year careeras a United States District Judge —capping nearly six decades of publicservice that began in 1969.

At Air Camp, we've been fortunate to benefit from his wisdom, integrity, and dedication as a member of our Board of Trustees. Judge Rice's belief in mentorship, opportunity, and lifting up the next generation mirrors exactly what we strive to do every day for the students in our programs. We hope he'll continue serving on our Board of Trustees for years to come.

On behalf of everyone at Air Camp — our staff, our students, and our fellow board members — thank you, Judge Rice, for your decades of service to our community and for the guidance and generosity you've brought to our organization.

We had the pleasure of participating in the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton of B2School Community Block Party yesterday. Such great energy and presence from other city orgs. 👏 We’re also excited to announce that Air Camp is partnering with BGCD this school year to provide STEM learning programming for their students!
