🛫 STEM Aviation CAMPS for Elementary, Middle, High School students and teachers in Dayton, Ohio USA and beyond.

Air Camp takes place at the birthplace of aviation - Dayton, Ohio. Students will experience all the exciting aviation and educational opportunities in the Dayton region, from the place where the Wright Brothers invented flight to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Home base for the week is on the campus of the University of Dayton. At week's end, each student will fly a small airplane!

We had the pleasure of participating in the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton of B2School Community Block Party yesterday. Such great energy and presence from other city orgs. 👏 We’re also excited to announce that Air Camp is partnering with BGCD this school year to provide STEM learning programming for their students!

More summer recaps! June's OVERNIGHT MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP (OMS #1) was a total whirlwind! We traversed the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and climbed through a C-17 at WPAFB. We soldered circuits, built small engines and power-pole planes. Flew simulators, coded drones and sling-shot mini gliders. Not least of all, we took control of small aircraft and logged some time in our flight log books!

HS students (grades 9-12) will get a unique look at the world of Airport Technical Operations as they explore careers in Aviation Dispatch, Aircraft First Response, Air Traffic Control and Crash Investigations (NTSB). Looking back on “Fly Day” at our MIDDLE SCHOOL DAY CAMP in June. 😮 We’re so grateful to MacAir Aviation at the Greene Co. Regional Airport for their fantastic facilities and opportunity to share the thrill of flying with these students. 👍
