About Us
Hello my name is Prier Flemings, CEO and Founder of FDB YC.
Feed Da Block Youth Club is a growing movement in Dayton, Ohio — created to uplift and empower at-risk youth ages 12–19 through love, faith, and community.
We believe every young person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. Many of the youth in our city face challenges no child should carry alone — poverty, violence, instability, and the pressure of adult responsibilities far too soon. Some are caring for siblings. Some are simply trying to survive. All deserve a safe space to grow, heal, and dream.
Feed Da Block is building that space — one rooted in compassion, consistency, and care.
We are youth-centered, but we don’t stand alone. We believe in standing with families, not in place of them. Many parents and caregivers are doing the best they can with what they have, and we honor their efforts. That’s why we say: it takes a village — and Feed Da Block is that village.
Our work is grounded in genuine faith — in God, in our young people, and in the power of community. We provide meals, mentorship, mental health resources, life skills workshops, transportation, and academic support , gardening, a gym, and studio — not just as services, but as acts of love. Every program we build is designed to restore hope and create opportunities that last far beyond today.
We may be new, but our purpose is clear: to invest in the whole child and walk with them toward a brighter, bolder future.
