Hemant and Arti Garg presented a generous donation on behalf of the Yukta Garg Memorial Foundation during last night's Board of Trustees meeting. The donation will support recreational programs and opportunities for children.

The Foundation, which honors Yukta's memory through music and community service, has contributed a total of $100,000 to the Township. We are so grateful for the Garg family’s continued support of youth in our community!

On behalf of the Yukta Garg Memorial Foundation, Arti and I had the privilege of presenting the check at the Washington Township Trustee meeting earlier today.

What began as a small effort to honor Yukta's memory through music and community service has grown into something much larger than we could have imagined. Each year, our Bollywood Gala brings together talented performers, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and community members who believe in giving back.

Because of their support, we were proud to present another $10,000 donation to Washington Township to help support recreational programs and opportunities for children.

This year's contribution marks a very special milestone for us. With this donation, the total amount contributed through the Bollywood Gala and the Yukta Garg Memorial Foundation now reaches $100,000.

That number represents much more than dollars. It represents hundreds of volunteer hours, countless acts of generosity, and a community that continues to come together year after year to support local children and families.

We would like to thank all of our performers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who attended the gala every year. We are also grateful to Washington Township for its partnership and for the tremendous work it does to provide programs and facilities that enrich the lives of children in our community.

There are countless videos online that never gain traction — and that doesn’t make them any less good. But when something does resonate widely, it’s a strong signal that it has connected with people.

This Bollywood Gala performance has now crossed 10,000 views on YouTube — a first for us.

Radhika Akella was outstanding, as always, bringing her signature grace and consistency to the stage. Per Hemant Garg, this was his best singing performance across all Bollywood Gala events so far, which makes this milestone even more meaningful to him.

It’s incredibly gratifying to see this kind of validation from audiences around the world. More than just a number, it reflects the collective effort, passion, and energy that goes into making these events special.
