We’re currently seeking volunteer soccer coaches to support a summer youth soccer program. KRM Summer Soccer provides another safe, welcoming space for kids to build community, stay active, and simply enjoy being kids.

We’re looking for individuals who:
• Can commit ~1–2 hours per week for approximately 8 weeks this summer
• Tuesdays June 9th - July 28: 6-7:30 pm
• Bill Cappel Soccer field, Covington, KY
• Enjoy working with youth
• Bring a positive, encouraging attitude

Coaching experience is a plus, but not required. All materials will be provided. Volunteer orientation and onboarding are required.

The program is back for its second year thanks to generous funding by the Celanese (Florence) Asian Collaboration and Empowerment ERG! We’re grateful for their continued support of the immigrant clients we serve.

Relief in Action 🏮 An evening of culture, connection, and community in support of refugee families rebuilding home in Northern Kentucky.

From the international market to the live showcase and donated raffle prizes, the night celebrated the talent and traditions that make our region stronger.

Thank you to our RIA 2026 team, especially , without whom the event would not have been possible!

A special thank you to for allowing us to utilize their beautiful space two years in a row. Also to all of those who donated time, talent, or treasure in support of immigrants .

A final thank you to everyone who attended the market and showcase. Your support preserves the work of welcome in our region.

Moments like these—working to make our new neighbors legal permanent residents on their path to be new Americans—is why we do what we do.

With support of our community and vibrant partners like the New Americans Initiative, we can continue transforming newcomers into neighbors.

Today, the families we serve came together to select gifts for their children all while sharing holiday cheer and warmth.

Because of the generosity of our community, shelves were full. And with the help of volunteers, every gift was wrapped with care so that each child left with something chosen just for them.

To those who donated gifts, gave their time, or helped the day run smoothly-thank you. Your support brings joy to the work of welcome!

This weekend we’re connecting with our community through culture and expression.

Today, join us at Freadom Fest at Roebling Books in Covington to celebrate the freedom of stories, ideas, and voices.

On Sunday, October 5, find us at Afrika on the Move at Boone County Library in Hebron to honor African heritage through music, dance, and food.

Both events are free, family-friendly, and open to all! We’ll be providing resources on how to get involved in our work to make Kentucky home for refugees and humanitarian immigrants.
