Rain or shine—and this year, definitely rain—our community showed up! ☔💙
Esperanza’s Feria de Salud was a tremendous success. These are only our first numbers, but they already show the incredible impact of the day:
🩺 76 glucose and cholesterol screenings
❤️ More than 70 blood pressure screenings
🎗️ 15 mammograms
💉 49 flu vaccines administered by NKY Health
💉 15 additional vaccines provided to 11 adults by NACU
👁️ 126 vision screenings by the Hebron Lions Club, with 55 referrals for follow-up care
🧪 12 HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis tests
🏠 11 HIV self-test kits distributed
💜 10 boxes of naloxone distributed
🙋🏻♀️ 12 women registered for See, Test & Treat cancer screening
🧠 82 people received mental health information from 1N5
📚 25 kids registered for Read Ready
🍽️ 164 lunches served
Altogether, our partners provided more than 475 screenings, vaccines, referrals, and health resources—all in one day and at no cost to our community.
None of this would have been possible without our sponsors, healthcare providers, community organizations, volunteers, and every family who joined us despite the weather. This is what community looks like!
