It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Our collective goal is $8 million this month, and it starts with just $19.08. That’s one delicious meal, one specialty coffee, or one sweet treat. Let’s help “Build Our Economic Wealth,” one bite (or sip!) at a time.

Tag your favorite food or drink business below, and let’s celebrate together!🩷💚🖤

Did you know?

Black women face significantly higher risks during pregnancy and childbirth, and Black infants experience disproportionately higher mortality rates compared to their White counterparts.

Behind these statistics are real mothers, real families, and real stories.

Every mother deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout her pregnancy journey. Yet for many Black women, what should be a season of joy is often overshadowed by concern, uncertainty, and the need to advocate for equitable care.

Join us virtually on June 6 for an important conversation about Black maternal health. Hear from healthcare professionals and community members as they discuss the realities, challenges, and solutions surrounding maternal health disparities.

Knowledge saves lives. Awareness creates change.

Invite three friends and be part of the conversation.

Open to both men and women.

💚🩷 Finding the right mental health provider can make a meaningful difference in your healing journey. Care feels more impactful when you’re supported by someone who understands your background, experiences, and perspective.

If you’re searching for culturally responsive support, resources like Therapy for Black Girls and Psychology Today can help connect you with providers who align with your needs and comfort level.

You deserve care that makes you feel both supported and understood. ✨

💚🩷 Healing looks different when people feel seen, heard, and understood. Having diverse mental health professionals can help create stronger connections, improve communication, and encourage more individuals to seek the support they need.

Despite the importance of representation, Black professionals remain significantly underrepresented in the mental health field. Increasing visibility and access matters—not just for care, but for building trust within our communities.

Let’s continue supporting and uplifting providers who help make mental wellness more inclusive and accessible for all.
