What an incredible day! 💚💗

On Saturday June 27, ADTO was proud to celebrate the Youth Leadership Initiative (YLI) Class of 2026! With over 70 family members, friends, and community supporters in attendance, we honored 10 outstanding YLI Scholars who successfully completed the program.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and guardians for your unwavering commitment, our community partners for believing in this vision, and the members of Alpha Delta Theta Omega Chapter for investing in the next generation. Thank you also to our own Dr. Lauren Prather for her leadership and dedication for making this a memorable experience for our scholars.

A special thank you to Ninth Street Missionary Baptist Church for graciously hosting our YLI sessions and supporting our scholars every step of the way.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and this program proved that it truly takes a community to develop young leaders. Thank you to everyone who poured into these scholars.

Congratulations, YLI Class of 2026! Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where your leadership journey takes you.

This Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers, father figures, mentors, and men who lead with love, strength, and sacrifice.

As we honor the important role they play in our families and communities, we also recognize that true strength includes prioritizing mental wellness. During Men’s Mental Health Month, we encourage open conversations, self-care, and support for the men who so often carry the weight of others while quietly navigating their own challenges.
