**Summer Campers Needs Update**

As we continue serving our summer campers at StrongLife Rescue Mission, we have some immediate needs and would greatly appreciate your help!

🥫 **Food Needs (individual serving size, pop-top cans):**
• Ravioli
• Spaghetti
• Vienna sausages
• Tuna
• Chicken

👕 **Clothing Needs:**
• 2XL and 3XL T-shirts
• Gym shorts (larger sizes)
• Men's boxers (L and XL)

Every donation helps us provide comfort, nourishment, and dignity to those we serve. If you'd like to donate, please contact us or drop off items at the mission.

As we continue improving our facilities this summer, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the churches and volunteer groups that have served alongside us. Special thanks to Hickory Bible Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, and Mountain View Baptist Church for their incredible support and hard work.

We are currently seeking volunteers with construction experience to help with projects including installing a door, repairing a water-damaged bathroom floor, and preparing our facilities for future expansion. If your church, small group, or ministry team would like to serve, please contact us at 704-740-7140.

Huge thanks to the Forge Men’s Group from Encounter Church Hickory for blessing our residents with grilled steaks, powerful testimonies, and a timely word from Pastor Elijah London.

Our men are hitting major milestones—nearly half are in the final phase of the program, and several are preparing to regain their driver’s licenses. If you know of a reliable, affordable vehicle, it could make a life‑changing difference.

We’re grateful for every church, volunteer, and supporter who are following the example of Jesus, "Who came not to be served, but to serve..." (Mk 10:45). Thank you for helping us continue this mission.

Our Men's Program is expanding! We are completing final touches our transitional home, which will soon allow us to welcome two additional residents. This live-in program is designed to help men overcome the challenges of poverty by focusing on spiritual growth, employment, financial stewardship, and long-term life planning. The above picture shows more than just eager hungry faces, but men whose lives are being transformed by Jesus while in the program. Please pray for them and the additional men who will be coming soon!
