Please visit Conover Dollar Generals, CVS, Untouchable's Pizza, Conover City Hall, Conover Police Department, La Bella Vita Salon & Conover Home & Commercial Hardware. If you would like to make monetary contributions to the program those will need to be brought to the Conover Police Department. Thank you for your support.

This year we will again have our donation boxes at Conover Police Department, Conover City Hall, Conover Hardware, Untouchables, CVS, 3M, Billy's BBQ, Sidewalk Café, Newton-Conover Middle School, Lyle Creek Elementary, Hwy 55,La Bella Vita Hair Salon, The Green Room Community Theater and all of Conover's Dollar General. Just look for our Santa Cops logo.

This year we have provided gifts for 140 children, so far. These 140 children are part of 59 families that we have touched thru this program. These children may have been completely without this Christmas, if not for the Conover Police Department, Conover City Management, Conover employees, Conover businesses and the fine citizens of Conover. You all have had a part of making Christmas very special for these 140 children. We want to take this time to thank you all for all the donations and time you have given. Without you, none of this would be possible.

The Conover Police Department is currently working on our 5th annual Santa Cops program. This program was designed to help families in need be able to give their children an unforgettable Christmas. The children we helped would not have had much for Christmas but through this program they were given gifts of toys and sometimes clothes. We can personally tell you we visited some homes where the children had very little toys and clothes. The smiles on their faces will be in our memories forever.

Last year, we were able to provide presents to 147 children and helped 68 families in and around the Conover area. It was a great experience for the Officers and the children. This year we will again have our donation boxes at Conover Police Department, Conover City Hall, Conover Hardware, Rock Barn, Untouchables, Wal-Mart, CVS, R**e Crisis Center, Sidewalk Café, and Conover Dollar General’s. Just look for our Santa Cops logo.

We also want to reach out to our communities and let them know about our program. If you know of a family that you believe may benefit from this program please let us know so we can try to help them?

Also, we do have some children that are in need of clothes. If you are interested in purchasing an outfit please contact Officer Shannon Grindstaff.

Wow, what an amazing year for Santa Cops! This program continues to grow every year! This year we added a special surprise to our deliveries. Santa came with us to deliver presents and the children really loved giving him hugs. We helped 68 families and 147 children have a wonderful Christmas. Many thanks to all those that helped us make this year a great success!
