As our final 2026 workshop came to a close today we want to thank everyone who helped make this one possible!

There are so many moving parts to pull off a successful event!

Workshop prep work: thank you to our staff for making calls, writing grants, and ensuring paperwork is prepared and completed.

Meals: thank you to B52’s Bar & Grill, Just Dump It - Junk Removal & Dumpster Rentals, Southern Side Board, Chick-fil-a, Outback Steakhouse - National, jasonsdeli, Liazzo’s, Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, Mandy Bottke, and Hen & Egg!

Participants: you showed up and that takes courage. Thank you for trusting our team with your journey.

Workshop & closing: a huge shoutout to our facilitators, OBH Co-directors, and Equine Specialists who dedicated over 45 hours each to successfully complete this journey with our participants! Tiger Tamers, thank you for
Donating your time and expertise! We would also like to thank their loved ones who also sacrificed time with those they love!

There are so many moving parts and we are truly
Grateful!

Veteran Update:
Many of you have reached out to support our veteran in need. We are waiting on a more recent update. However, we know that with the support of our OBH veterans and community they were able to get him into a temporary long-term housing, set up with supports to attend VA appointments, groceries, gas, and other valuable community connections.

THANK YOU!

Update: Good afternoon! We are working closely with several resources and have secured enough money to cover one night in a hotel plus money to support meals. We are looking to continue support until the other applications process and we can find him a long-term solution. We appreciate anything you are willing to give. Every $1 counts!

Good morning! We have an urgent need to support a homeless veteran. We would like to find him long-term housing ASAP. We have reached out to several contacts.

In the meantime, we are trying to raise funds to get him into a hotel for the evening. Any amount will help.
