🚧 Construction Update! 🚧

We wanted to give everyone an update on our highly anticipated new duplexes!

Every day brings more progress, and we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line. These duplexes will provide safe, stable housing and new opportunities for families in our community who need it most.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this project and helped bring this vision to life. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue moving forward!

Thank you to the North Carolina Cooperative and for our bike and helmet safety demonstration tonight. Every kid in our shelter was gifted a brand new helmet and taught the proper way to wear them to make sure we’re being safe while playing outside this summer.

Partnerships like this are the backbone of our shelter. We couldn’t (and wouldn’t) want to do this alone. We are better together.

As our 3rd Annual Pickleball Tournament comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this weekend such a success!

To our players, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, spectators, and supporters—thank you for showing up, competing, cheering, and helping us further our mission of serving homeless families with dependent children in our community.

Because of your generosity and support, this tournament was about so much more than pickleball. Every match played, raffle ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and donation made helps provide hope, stability, and a path forward for families in need.

We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we can’t wait to see you all again next year!
